How to Use

Apraise Eyelash and Eyebrow Tint Warning.
FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY.
Contains Phenylenediamines & Resorcinol. Read and follow instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary 'black henna' tattoos may increase the risk of allergy. Eyelashes shall not be coloured if the consumer: has a rash on the face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp, # has experienced any reaction after colouring hair or eyelashes, # has experienced a reaction toa temporary #black henna# tattoo in the past. Rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them. Wear suitable gloves.

SKIN SENSITIVITY:
Hair colorants can cause severe allergic reactions. Allergy test must be completed 48 hours before each application. Mix 1 cm of Tint with 5 drops of developer. Do not use metal utensils. Apply the mix to an area approximately 2cm2 square on the inside of the elbow with a cotton bud. Let the product dry then rinse off after 45 minutes. If any irritation occurs during this time or in the next 48hrs do not carry out the treatment.

To apply:
Prior to application, mix approximately 2 cm of tint with 10 drops with chosen Apraise Eyelash Developer in to a smooth paste. Ensure the lashes and brows are clean and free from makeup and oils. Using a cotton bud, apply petroleum jelly around the upper eyelids to create a protective barrier. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the back of the protective eye papers and place one under each lower eyelash. Ask the client to gently close their eyes. Using a tinting brush, apply the prepared mixture first to the eyelashes in downward strokes, then to the eyebrows, following the desired brow shape. You may use the same or a lighter shade for brows. Avoid contact with the skin where tint is not intended. The development time is between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on the hair type and desired colour intensity.

To remove:
Once the desired shade is achieved, gently wipe the eyebrows with a piece of damp cotton wool, until tint is removed. Remove the protective papers with downwards sweep with damp cotton pads, and with the client#s eyes still closed, continue with damp cotton pads in a downward sweeping motion until all tint residue is removed from lashes. Ensure the client opens their eyes slowly, avoiding bright or direct light for comfort.
