Returns Policy

Our returns policy is valid for 28 days from the recipt of your goods. If more than 28 days have passed since receiving your order, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, your item(s) must reach us unused, in perfect condition and in its original packaging.

For hygiene reasons, we are unable or accept returns of certain items including hair brushes, scissors, combs, blades and manicure and perdicure products. In addition, we cannot accept the return of flammable liquids or hazardous materials on health and safety grounds.

To initiate your return, please contact us at info@hairandbeautyworld.com before proceeding with the returns procedure. Your order reference number will need to be clearly marked on the paperwork you send back with the goods to allow us to process your return efficiently. We strongly recommend you use some form of recorded delivery and that goods are securely packaged and insured as we cannot accept any responsibility for lost or damaged goods. On receipt of the returned item(s), if they meet the above requirements, we will refund the price paid for the goods to the original payment card. Any delivery costs will not be refunded.

Manufacturing Faults & Warranty

There is a 1-year warranty on most of our electrical goods & equipment. This includes clippers & trimmers (including motors and batteries), However, blades are considered consumable parts and for this reason are not covered. These parts are sold separately and will likely need replaced over time.

If a fault has developed within the manufacturers warranty period, a repair, exchange or refund (including the original delivery charge where applicable) will be offered once the manufacturing fault has been confirmed.

In cases where the fault (or cause of the fault) is not apparent we reserve the right to send the item for testing. This will usually be carried out by the manufacturer and their response will be required before any actions can be taken. We will notify you of the outcome and options available. If a manufacturing fault is not found the item will be sent back to you at your cost (normally our standard delivery charge).

Return of Furniture and Equipment Items

Most furniture and equipment items are built to order or custom built; these items are subject to the following additional terms of cancellation or return:

Furniture and equipment orders cannot be cancelled more than 5 working days after being placed, we may in rare circumstances accept the cancellation or return of an order outside of this time scale however this is at our discretion and may be subject to a charge of up to 20% of the value of the goods as well as the delivery charge.

REM 3 Year Warranty

This warranty covers product defects from faulty materials, workmanship, or direct delivery transport damage reported within 72 hours. Issues related to incorrect specification or missing components must be reported within 28 days from delivery.

This warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect installation, 3rd party transportation and storage damage, or wear and tear.
